Mangalore, Dec 8: “The best builder is not the one who builds the biggest building but the one who builds building without troubling neighbours,” said Minister for Health and Family Welfare U T Khader. He was speaking after formally launching the Amaco Alaska at Kana, near Surathkal on the outskirts of the city of Mangalore on Sunday morning. Amaco Alaska housing apartment is the real estate debut of Saudi Arabia based Amaco Group of Companies, which has its offices in the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates besides India.
Applauding the ventures of Mangalore based entrepreneur and CEO of the Company Asif Amaco, the minister said that the former’s contribution to Dakshina Kannada district and its people is remarkable. Presiding over the launching ceremony Mangalore North MLA B A Moideen Bava said that Amaco Group and its CEO have set an example for the society through their philanthropy and social service.
Speaking on the occasion, Bangalore based Bhoomi Group CEO Sushila Ramachandra said that six brothers of Amaco Group have become a role model for the society through their deeds. “We have to learn from these lovely brothers,” she said.
Corporator Abdul Rauoof, Bhoomi Group’s Bhoomi, Indian Overseas Bank’s Surendar, Amaco Manufacturing and Industrial Service Pvt. Ltd. India A.M Ibrahim, six Amaco brothers, architect and engineer Vijay J Gatty and Sharafath of Pinnacle Construction were present among others.
The foundation stone was laid by Moideen Bava after the stage programme. Kana Badriya Juma Masjid Khatheeb Abdul Rahman Sa’adi performed Du’a in the presence of Ali Bafaki Thangal. Abdul Baais ibn Ibrahim ibn Ahmed recited the Quranic verses and their English meaning at the beginning of the programme.
